BUT FIRST, A BIT ABOUT ME

That’s me (right).

I solve big, often complex creative problems. Whether it’s writing a 1,000+ page website for the Australian Defence Force, creating campaigns for trillion-dollar financial institutions, or helping local companies transition into global brands, I’m trusted to get it right.

I can build a brand from the ground up or evolve an existing one, developing guidelines, sharpening the tone of voice and bringing clarity to the message. I speak fluent "developer", lead and collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams, and can direct talent across a wide spectrum. Most importantly, I write to brief, in the right voice and never off script.

Whatever the creative challenge, I’ll solve it with precision, insight, and respect for the nuance and humanity that makes great work resonate.

As a copywriter, I've worked for traditional advertising agencies, digital agencies, commerce agencies, and agencies with a higher purpose. In different cities, different countries, in-house and remote. These days, I'm based in Australia, working for agencies and brands around the globe.

When the stakes are high, tone of voice, nuance and meticulous attention to detail make all the difference. I’ve created strategically effective, engaging work for some of the world’s most innovative and inspiring brands, gaining deep insight into what it takes to build the foundations of brand, advertising and creativity.

Nothing makes my heart beat faster than clear communication and this goes beyond being economical with words. Creating precise copy avoids the legal implications of unambiguous or misleading text, plus its more likely messages will be recalled.

I’m used to writing for global audiences, understanding translation challenges and crafting copy with localisation in mind. This means relying on ideas rather than specific words or phrases, so it’s understood by audiences from all walks – and talks – of life.
